Replace the original cover with a lightweight and sturdy component designed for demanding motocross riders. The RFX Pro cover is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, a high-strength alloy that maintains its dimensional stability under high temperatures and pressures. Its hard anodized treatment provides a gray finish that is resistant to abrasion and common track aggressions.

The increased flow geometry promotes smoother oil circulation around the filter, while the hollow design reduces weight without compromising sealing: the cover accepts OEM O-rings for a secure fit on the crankcase.

Installation Instructions

• Drain the oil according to your KX450F manual.
• Remove the old cover while protecting the sealing surface.
• Install the OEM O-ring on the new cover.
• Replace the filter if necessary, reinsert the spring, and install the cover.
• Fill and check the oil level according to the manual.
