Features

VERTEX Cast Piston (manufacturer reference: 24616D) — an engine part dedicated to off-road and MX practices. Designed by VERTEX, a specialist in thermal components for off-road machines, this aluminum piston offers a cast design suitable for the specifications of modern 250 cm3 displacements. Ideal for riders seeking a robust part for engine rebuilding or maintenance.

Type: cast piston
Material: aluminum
Piston diameter: Ø 66.360 mm (bore 66.40 mm)
Oversize: letter D (oversize)
Compression: standard

This piston fits within the Cross universe and is suitable for builders working on 2T/4T engines requiring a D oversize. The finish and dimensional control adhere to VERTEX manufacturing processes, commonly used in both replacement and competition. It is particularly compatible with the TM RACING models listed by the manufacturer: TM RACING MX 250 FI ES (2025), TM RACING MX 250 ES (2025), and TM RACING EN 250 2T FI ES CORSE (2025).

When overhauling the engine, check the condition of the sleeve and rings, as well as the bore tolerances before installation. For optimal exchange, follow the manufacturer's recommendations and perform the necessary fitting checks.
