DescriptionVertex forged Piston kit

Product details :

Features

The VERTEX forged piston (manufacturer reference 24502A) is aimed at demanding quad riders and engine reconditioning workshops. Designed by a specialist in off-road thermal components, this forged aluminium piston features precision machining to meet engine specifications and the bore intended for production machines.

Manufacturing: forged aluminium piston, Vertex process recognised for quality
Mounting dimensions: bore 92.00 mm — piston diameter Ø 91.96 mm (oversize letter A)
Compression: standard, suitable for original mounting
Usage: intended for reliable refurbishments and preparations for off-road use

This piston maintains the necessary dimensional characteristics for a precise fit in the cylinder and integrates easily during a re-bore in oversize A. The forged aluminium material offers good homogeneity and mechanical strength, which are sought after for the thermal and mechanical stresses encountered in quad use.

Main compatibilities (examples):

KAWASAKI TERYX KRX 1000 TRAIL EDITION (2021 - 1000 cm3)
KAWASAKI TERYX KRX 1000 SPECIAL EDITION (2021 - 1000 cm3)
KAWASAKI TERYX KRX 1000 (2021 - 1000 cm3)

For a secure installation, check clearances, rings, and alignment during assembly and follow the manufacturer's recommendations for running-in and lubrication.
