VERTEX Forged Piston Replica (manufacturer part number: 24109A) — designed for off-road and motocross competition, this forged aluminium piston embodies Vertex's expertise to provide a replacement part that meets original standards. Ideal for high-performance engine overhauls, it is suitable for demanding riders looking for a robust wear part precisely sized for accurate fitting.

Bore diameter: 77.00 mm (piston Ø 76.950 mm / Ø 76.95 mm)
Oversize letter: A — to compensate for cylinder wear
Compression: standard (13.5:1)
Material: forged aluminium, precision machining according to Vertex process
Rings: 272240 • Circlips: CV16

The forged production and controlled machining ensure a tight fit in the cylinder, necessary for proper bedding-in and longevity of the high-performance kit. Suitable for repairs and refurbishment of the 250 cm3 motocross engines listed below; installation should be carried out according to manufacturer recommendations and piston/cylinder clearances should be checked before commissioning.
