Product details :

VERTEX Forged Piston (manufacturer part number 24268A): a forged aluminum piston designed for demanding motocross engines. Precisely designed and machined by VERTEX, it features an oversize letter A and a piston diameter of Ø 76.95 mm for a nominal bore of 77.00 mm. Its geometry and forged construction ensure an optimized microstructure, better mechanical strength, and fatigue resistance compared to cast parts.

Material: forged aluminum, precision machining
Compression: high compression, suitable for race heads and combustion chambers
Piston diameter: Ø 76.95 mm — bore: 77.00 mm (oversize A)
Manufacturing: Vertex process recognized in competition and for original equipment

This piston is aimed at motocross riders seeking a reliable engine part for cylinder rebuilding or preparation. Forging enhances resistance to thermomechanical stresses and facilitates heat management during intensive use. Installation and bore control are recommended before fitting to ensure correct ring clearance and tolerances.

Main compatibilities: KAWASAKI KX 250 (KX252A) 2019 and KAWASAKI KX 250 F (KX252A) 2018 — for 250 cc displacements. Check the part number and engine specifications before purchase.
