Product details :

Features

VERTEX Forged Piston (manufacturer part no. 23856A) designed for off-road machines. Developed by VERTEX, a specialist in thermal components for off-road motorcycles, this forged aluminium piston meets the endurance and precision requirements of motocross applications.

Type: Forged Piston
Material: Aluminium
Compression: High compression
Bore Diameter: 96.00 mm
Piston Diameter: Ø 95.950 mm (Ø 95.95 mm)
Oversize Letter: A
Reference: 23856A

Forged pistons offer a more homogeneous structure and better resistance to thermomechanical stresses than cast pistons, making them a frequent choice for modifications and replacements on competitive motocross machines. Its aluminium design ensures a suitable mass/stiffness compromise for the high RPMs characteristic of 4-stroke motocross engines.

Compatible with several Honda CRF 450 R (PE05) models from 2014 to 2016, this piston is aimed at riders seeking a robust part for engine refurbishment or preparation. Please check the exact compatibility with your cylinder and bore tolerances before installation.
