VERTEX Forged Piston – Manufacturer Ref: 23959A

Designed for off-road use and competition, this VERTEX forged piston is aimed at demanding riders preparing their engine for motocross use. Forged from high-quality aluminium, it adheres to the manufacturing process recognized in the MX community and is intended for high compression setups.

Piston Ø: 96.940 mm (oversize A)
Recommended bore diameter: 97.00 mm
Compression: high compression 13.5:1
Material: forged aluminium
Associated elements: rings 264970 – piston pin 032052 – circlips CV18

This piston is designed for the listed compatible 450 cm3 engines (e.g. YAMAHA WR 450 F RE45 2020, YZ 450 F CJ21 2017, WR 450 F 2017). Its forged design provides a structure suitable for the thermomechanical stresses encountered off-road. Before installation, check the cylinder bore and adhere to the clearances and procedures recommended by the manufacturer or your preparer.
