DescriptionVertex Replica Forged Piston kit

Product details :

Features

Designed for motocross and high-performance engines, the VERTEX Replica forged piston (manufacturer reference 24628A) focuses on quality materials and precise machining. VERTEX, a specialist in thermal components for off-road vehicles, equips many original machines and offers here a piston suitable for modifications and restorations.

Brand: VERTEX
Reference: 24628A
Type: Forged aluminum piston
Compression: Standard
Bore diameter: 78.00 mm
Piston diameter: Ø 77.95 mm (piston-cylinder clearance ≈ 0.05 mm)
Oversize letter: A (oversized piston for 78.00 mm bore)

This piston is aimed at riders and mechanics looking for a robust part to replace a worn component or prepare a motocross engine. Its forged aluminum construction provides good mechanical strength for the RPM and acceleration stresses typical of off-road use. Before installation, check the condition of the cylinder, the rings, and adhere to manufacturer tolerances for piston/cylinder clearance and connecting rod alignment.

Common compatibilities: KAWASAKI KX 250 X (2024, 2023) and KAWASAKI KX 250 (2024) — verify the year and engine before ordering.
