Features

WÖSSNER Forged Piston - Manufacturer Ref. 8193D050

Designed for the demanding conditions of off-road riding, this Wössner forged piston provides the durability sought by motocross riders. Machined in Germany by a specialist in engine parts, it is aimed at builds requiring a high-quality replacement part for oversized cylinders.

Bore diameter: 62.50 mm
Piston diameter: Ø 62.44 mm (oversize letter 050, which is +0.50 mm)
Material: forged aluminum
Number of rings: 2 (supplied with rings)
Anti-friction treatment on the skirt to limit wear and friction
Complete kit: rings, circlips, and pin included

The forged manufacturing process gives the piston a compact structure and better resistance to thermomechanical stresses compared to cast parts, making it a suitable choice for engines used in motocross. The skirt treatment aims to improve contact with the cylinder during heating phases and prolonged effort.

Common compatibilities: SUZUKI PE 175 (1981–1983). Before installation, check the cylinder surfacing and honing according to the manufacturer's recommendations to ensure proper break-in.
