These circlips fit into the groove on the piston skirt to keep the pin in place. Before installation, ensure that the groove of the piston is clean, free of deposits, and in good condition to ensure proper retention. During installation, it is recommended to open the circlip in the opposite direction to the movement of the piston to reduce the risk of disengagement during operation.

Workshop tips: use a suitable circlip pliers, assemble in a clean environment, and systematically replace damaged or deformed circlips. Incorrectly positioned circlips can cause internal damage to the piston or pin.
