Born from the fusion of experience in the racing world and aeronautical inspiration is an innovative mirror: Stealth, an accessory dedicated to super-sport motorcycles. The mirror consists of a fixed part, which allows it to be mounted directly on the fairing, and a movable part, which serves as the mirror support. Thanks to a rotation system that connects the two parts, with a simple gesture, it is possible to align them: in the closed position, the mirror becomes an aerodynamic appendage.
While the mirror support remains the same, the fixed part connected to it is specifically designed for each of the super-sport motorcycles for which 'Stealth' has been developed, seeking the best solution in terms of fluid dynamics.
The Stealth is machined from a block of aluminium, available in three different colours achieved through anodisation, and is equipped with a convex glass to allow for greater visibility.
The design of Stealth, reminiscent of a wing and inclined at 25° to the ground, gives it a visually linear appearance and creates a downward aerodynamic force effect, improving the motorcycle's grip and riding performance, especially at high speeds. The downward force achieved is approximately 4 kg at 300 km/h.
The ergonomic aspect has also been optimised: when the rider adopts a sporty riding position, the mirrors are at the same height as their eyes. Thus, the rider does not need to lift their head to have a rearward field of vision, while keeping their head protected by the fairing and therefore by the pressure exerted on the face at high speed.
