Hepco & Becker Basic - tank ring (black)
Designed to securely attach a Hepco & Becker tank bag to your Kawasaki ZR-7 / ZR-7S (1999-2003), the BASIC ring focuses on simplicity and mechanical reliability. Its design allows for the bag to be installed with an audible click and removed quickly thanks to the forward-facing release strap — convenient during a break or city ride.
- Supplied with the BASIC ring and an adjustable counter-support, to be screwed according to the shape of the tank and the angle of the handlebars.
- Fuel cap opening possible without removing the ring.
- Purely mechanical locking mechanism (no magnets): secure hold even at high speeds.
- Recommended maximum speed with bag mounted: 130 km/h.
- Recommended payload: approximately 3 kg in the tank bag.
- Note: Lock-it and BASIC counter-plates are incompatible with each other — use the same system for the ring and the bag.
