Hepco & Becker Basic - black (Manufacturer's ref: 5163518 00 01)
Specific tank ring for Suzuki GSX 1300 R Hayabusa (2008-2020). The Basic Tankring allows for quick and secure attachment of a Hepco & Becker bag to the tank, while still providing access to the fuel filler opening.
- Simple and reliable mechanical attachment: audible placement of the bag on the ring.
- Supplied with adjustable counter-support to fit the shape of the tank and the angle of the handlebars.
- Fuel cap opening always possible with the ring installed.
- Unlocking via the front strap of the bag pulled in the direction of travel for quick removal.
- Manufacturer's recommendations: payload ≈ 3 kg; maximum advised speed with bag mounted: 130 km/h.
The BASIC system locks only via a mechanical mechanism. It differs from the Lock-it system, which uses magnetic pins to facilitate centring; the two systems are incompatible with each other (counter-support and ring must belong to the same system). In Germany, using a tank bag mounted on this ring does not require an ABE or registration in the vehicle registration certificate.
