Features

Hepco & Becker — Basic Tank Ring (black) for Kawasaki Z 1000 (2003-2022). Designed to securely attach a Hepco & Becker tank bag, this simple and robust ring makes daily rides and longer trips easier.

The delivery includes the BASIC tank ring and the adjustable counter-support, which can be screwed in according to the shape of the tank and the angle of the handlebars. The fuel cap remains accessible: you can open the tank without removing the bag.

  • System: mechanical locking with an audible click when in place.
  • Unlocking: front strap pulled in the direction of travel to remove the bag.
  • Compatibility: dedicated to Kawasaki Z 1000 (2003-2022). The counter-support and the ring must belong to the same system (BASIC ≠ Lock‑it).
  • Recommended performance: maximum advised speed with bag 130 km/h; approximate payload 3 kg.
  • Note: the Lock‑it adds a magnetic centring aid; the Basic relies solely on mechanical locking.

Manufacturer's ref: 516296 00 01

Ideal for riders looking for a reliable and hassle-free attachment for their tank bag, while maintaining access to the cap and an adaptable installation for the Z 1000's tank.
