Hepco & Becker Basic - black: dedicated tank ring for Yamaha MT‑01 (2005–2012). Designed to securely attach a Hepco & Becker tank bag, this simple yet effective ring replaces the fuel cap and allows you to carry the essentials without compromising safety.
- Supplied with the BASIC ring and adjustable counter-support, to be screwed in according to the shape of the tank and the angle of the handlebars.
- Reliable mechanical locking: the bag clips in and locks audibly for secure retention, even on the motorway.
- Release via front strap in the direction of travel: quick and intuitive removal of the bag.
- Allows the fuel cap to be opened when the ring is mounted.
- Recommended maximum speed with bag mounted: 130 km/h. Recommended payload: approximately 3 kg.
Practical notes: the BASIC ring differs from the Lock‑it system by the absence of magnetic domes (centering ensured only by the mechanics). The Lock‑it and BASIC counter-supports are not compatible with each other: the ring and counter-bracket must belong to the same system. In Germany, tank bags do not require ABE or registration.
