Designed by Hepco & Becker for perfect integration on Yamaha YZF‑R1 (2002‑2004), the Basic - black tank ring offers a simple and reliable solution for securing a tank bag. Compact and robust, this ring keeps your bag in place during road trips or sports outings, while allowing access to the fuel cap when installed.
- Supply: Basic tank ring + adjustable support to be screwed according to the shape of the tank and the angle of the handlebars.
- Mechanical locking system: clear and audible fixation when the bag is engaged.
- Simple unlocking: pulling the front strap of the bag in the direction of travel for quick removal of the bag.
- Recommendations: maximum advised speed with bag mounted 130 km/h; approximate payload 3 kg (refer to the motorcycle manufacturer's recommendations).
- Approval: in Germany, tank bags do not require an ABE or registration on the vehicle registration document.
Important note: the BASIC ring locks mechanically. It is not compatible with Lock‑it counter-brackets (both systems must be identical). Primarily compatible with Yamaha YZF‑R1 2002, 2003, and 2004. Brand: Hepco & Becker. Manufacturer reference: 5164501 00 01.
