Designed for the Yamaha XJ 900 S Diversion (1994–2003), this BASIC tank ring offers a simple and robust attachment for Hepco & Becker tank bags. Made for road use, it mounts onto the fuel cap and comes with an adjustable counter-support to be screwed onto the bag according to the shape of the tank and the angle of the handlebars.

• Secure hold: clear and audible mechanical locking for hassle-free installation.
• Practical: the fuel cap remains accessible and opens normally once the ring is installed.
• Recommended load: approximately 3 kg in the tank bag.
• Maximum advised speed: 130 km/h with the bag mounted.
• Supplied with: BASIC ring and counter-support for bag adaptation.

Important note: the BASIC ring uses purely mechanical locking — it differs from the Lock‑it system which incorporates magnetic domes for centring assistance. The counter-supports and rings must belong to the same system (BASIC or Lock‑it) to be compatible. In Germany, tank bags do not require ABE or specific registration.
