Basic - black by Hepco & Becker: specific tank ring for BMW S 1000 RR (2009-2011). Designed to securely attach a Hepco & Becker tank bag, this ring offers easy installation and reliable mechanical operation. The fuel cap remains accessible once the ring is installed, allowing for refuelling without disassembly.
The delivery includes the BASIC ring and an adjustable counter-support to be screwed onto the bag depending on the shape of the tank and the angle of the handlebars. Locking is done mechanically: the bag positions and clicks into place with an audible sound, then releases quickly thanks to a front strap pulled forward.
- Secure hold even at high speeds (manufacturer's recommendation: maximum speed with bag mounted: 130 km/h).
- Simple and robust mechanical locking.
- Counter-support provided, adjustable according to the tank geometry.
- Recommended capacity in the bag: approximately 3 kg.
- Note: BASIC and Lock-it systems are incompatible with each other — the counter-bracket and the ring must belong to the same system.
- In Germany, tank bags do not require an ABE or registration in the vehicle registration certificate.
