Specific tank ring to attach a Hepco & Becker tank bag on BMW R 850 R (1994-2002) and R 1100 R (1994-1999). Designed to provide a simple, reliable, and discreet attachment that keeps the fuel cap opening accessible once installed.
- Contents: BASIC tank ring + adjustable support to be screwed onto the bag according to the shape of the tank and the tilt of the handlebars.
- Locking: mechanical mechanism with audible engagement and secure hold up to the recommended speed (130 km/h).
- Usage: unlocking via a strap located at the front of the bag, pulled in the direction of travel to remove the bag.
- Recommended payload: approximately 3 kg (follow the motorcycle manufacturer's guidelines).
- Compatibility: the BASIC ring is not interchangeable with the Lock-it system (the counterparts must belong to the same system).
- Note: in Germany, tank bags of this type do not require an ABE.
