Features

Hepco & Becker – Basic - black (manufacturer's ref: 516908 00 01): tank ring designed for the BMW R 1150 GS (2000-2004). Ideal for securing a Hepco & Becker tank bag, this simple and robust system facilitates road trips and adventures while maintaining convenient access to refuelling.

Supply: BASIC tank ring + adjustable counter-support to be screwed onto the bag depending on the shape of the tank and the angle of the handlebars.
Mechanical locking: the bag positions and locks with an audible click; unlocking is done via the front strap pulled forward.
Fuel access: tank cap usable without removing the installed ring.
Manufacturer recommendations: maximum advised speed with bag mounted ≈ 130 km/h; recommended payload ≈ 3 kg.
Compatibility: each model-specific ring is registered in the "My bike" database. The counter-support and the ring must belong to the same system (BASIC vs Lock‑it not interchangeable).

The BASIC version focuses on simplicity and mechanical reliability (without magnetic assistance for centring, unlike the Lock‑it system). Practical for riders looking for a discreet and sturdy attachment for their tank bag on the R 1150 GS.
