Basic Tank Ring - Black by Hepco & Becker (Manufacturer's Ref: 516353 00 01). Designed for owners of the Suzuki VX 800 (1990-1997), this tank ring allows for secure attachment of a Hepco & Becker tank bag while providing access to the fuel cap. Easy to install and use, it is aimed at riders who want a reliable solution for carrying essentials without compromising handlebar ergonomics.
- Included: BASIC tank ring and adjustable support to adapt the bag to the shape of the tank and the angle of the handlebars.
- Locking: mechanical mechanism with an audible lock when the bag is secured.
- Removal: unlock by pulling the front strap in the direction of travel, then easily extract the bag.
- Recommended use: maximum advised speed with bag mounted ≈ 130 km/h; approximate payload ≈ 3 kg (refer to motorcycle manufacturer's specifications).
- Compatibility: specifically registered for Suzuki VX 800 (1990-1997). The BASIC system is not compatible with Lock-it anti-brackets.
Difference with the Lock-it system: the BASIC locks only mechanically, while the Lock-it adds magnetic domes for easier centering. Choose the system that corresponds to your bag's anti-bracket to ensure a proper fit.
