BASIC tank ring designed for the Yamaha FZ 8 (2010‑2016). This simple and robust system allows for secure attachment of a Hepco & Becker tank bag thanks to an accessible and reliable mechanical locking mechanism for both road use and urban escapades.
- Supplied with the model-specific tank ring and adjustable counter-support to fit the shape of the tank and the angle of the handlebars.
- Audible mechanical locking: the bag easily clips and locks onto the ring.
- Fuel cap can be opened without removing the ring.
- Recommended maximum speed with bag mounted: 130 km/h. Recommended payload: approximately 3 kg.
- Compatibility notice: BASIC system components are not interchangeable with Lock-it counter-brackets — both systems require matching parts. The model-specific "metal ring" is identical; the difference lies in the magnetic (Lock-it) or plastic (BASIC) domes.
