Features

Hepco & Becker — BASIC Black Tank Ring (ref. 516675 00 01)

Designed for the BMW S 1000 XR (2015-2019), this BASIC tank ring allows for secure attachment of a Hepco & Becker tank bag for road trips and long stages. The delivered set includes the model-specific ring and the adjustable support, which can be screwed in according to the shape of the tank and the angle of the handlebars.

Mechanical locking: simple installation, audible locking ensuring a firm grip of the bag.
Convenient unlocking: pulling the front strap in the direction of travel to remove the bag in one motion.
Access to the cap: the tank cap remains accessible even with the ring installed.
Road performance: secure hold even at high speeds — recommended speed with bag mounted: 130 km/h.
Recommended load: approximately 3 kg in the tank bag (follow the manufacturer's recommendations).

Note on compatibility: the BASIC system locks only mechanically. It differs from the Lock-it system, which uses magnetic elements for centring. The BASIC and Lock-it supports are not interchangeable; ensure you mount a bag and a ring from the same system.

Ideal for riders who want a reliable and uncomplicated attachment for their tank bag on the S 1000 XR.
