Hepco & Becker Basic - black (manufacturer's ref: 516714 00 01): dedicated tank ring for tank bag, designed for the Ducati Monster 796 (2010-2016). Compact and robust, this tank ring allows for quick and clean attachment of the Hepco & Becker bag while keeping access to the fuel cap intact.
The kit includes the tank ring and the adjustable counter-support, to be screwed onto the bag depending on the shape of the tank and the angle of the handlebars. Simple installation that facilitates city commuting as well as road outings.
- Compatibility: Ducati Monster 796 (2010-2016) — verifiable in the "My bike" database.
- Locking system: mechanical locking with audible click to ensure the bag → ring connection.
- Unlocking: by pulling the front strap in the direction of travel to remove the bag in one motion.
- Manufacturer's recommendations: maximum advised speed with bag mounted: 130 km/h; payload ≈ 3 kg. Refer to the motorcycle manual for specific indications.
- Technical note: difference Lock‑it vs BASIC: same model-specific metal parts, only the domes (magnetic or plastic) differ. The counter-brackets of both systems are not interchangeable.
