Features

Hepco & Becker Basic - black tank ring

Designed for the BMW R 1200 GS (2008-2012), the BASIC tank ring allows for quick and secure attachment of a Hepco & Becker tank bag. The kit includes the specific ring and an adjustable counter-support, which can be screwed onto the bag according to the shape of the tank and the angle of the handlebars. The fuel cap remains accessible once the ring is installed.

Mechanical locking: the bag positions and locks in a clear and audible manner. Unlocking is done via a front strap pulled forward.
Compatibility: model-specific ring — verified for the BMW R 1200 GS (2008-2012). The counter-support and the ring must belong to the same system (BASIC or Lock‑it).
Difference BASIC / Lock‑it: the BASIC uses only mechanical locking; the Lock‑it version adds magnetic elements to facilitate centring.
Recommendations: according to the manufacturer, maximum recommended speed with the bag mounted is 130 km/h and payload is approximately 3 kg.

Simple installation, designed for road use, and quick removal of the bag for stops — ideal for touring trips and light off-road rides. Manufacturer reference: 516926 00 01.
