Hepco & Becker Basic - black (ref. 516906 00 01)
Solid and discreet tank ring designed to attach a Hepco & Becker tank bag to BMW F 650/ST (1997-2000). The BASIC system offers a simple mechanical attachment: the bag positions and locks audibly onto the ring, ensuring a secure hold during your rides.
- Supplied with the BASIC tank ring and an adjustable counter-support with screws according to the shape of the tank and the angle of the handlebars.
- Purely mechanical locking, easy to handle and reliable for everyday use.
- Fuel cap opening possible without removing the installed ring.
- Proven stability at normal speed: maximum recommended speed with bag mounted 130 km/h.
- Recommended payload in the bag: approximately 3 kg (follow the manufacturer's instructions for the motorcycle).
Practical note: the model-specific metal ring is identical between the BASIC and Lock‑it versions, but the counter-clamps are not interchangeable. A bag equipped with a Lock‑it counter-clamp cannot be mounted on a BASIC ring and vice versa. Ideal for riders looking for a robust attachment solution, without electronics or magnets, for their rides and daily commutes.
