Designed for the Yamaha TDR 125 (1993-2000), the BASIC tank ring allows for quick and secure attachment of a Hepco & Becker bag to the tank. Compact and robust, this system includes the tank ring and the adjustable counter-support, which can be screwed in according to the shape of the tank and the angle of the handlebars for precise centring.
- Mechanical closure: simple and audible locking when placing the bag.
- Convenient removal: unlocking via front strap in the direction of travel to remove the bag in one motion.
- Reliable hold: secure grip, even on fast roads; tank cap can be opened with the ring installed.
- Recommended limits: maximum advised speed with bag mounted 130 km/h, payload of approximately 3 kg.
- System compatibility: the BASIC uses a mechanical locking system and is not compatible with Lock-it counter-bridges (centering magnets). The counter-support and the ring must belong to the same system.
- Administrative note: in Germany, tank bags do not require an ABE or registration.
