Designed for the BMW R 1300 GS Adventure (2024-), this BASIC tank ring offers a simple and robust attachment for Hepco & Becker tank bags. Installed on the dedicated plate, it allows the tank bag's counter-bracket to be engaged and provides a clear and audible mechanical locking — ideal for both road riding and light off-road stages.

• Secure hold: reliable retention even at high speeds.
• Mechanical locking: easy insertion of the bag and a clear click when engaged.
• Fuel cap opening: possible without removing the ring.
• Quick removal: unlocking via the front strap of the bag, easy extraction.
• Recommended payload: approximately 3 kg to maintain balance and stability.
• Recommended maximum speed: 130 km/h with the bag mounted.
• Supplied with: specific ring and adjustable counter-support depending on the shape of the tank and handlebar angle.

Important note: the BASIC ring differs from the Lock-it system by the absence of centring aid magnets. The BASIC and Lock-it counter-brackets are not compatible with each other — the ring and counter-bracket must belong to the same system.
