Features

Hepco & Becker – Basic Tank Ring (black) • Manufacturer Ref. 516670 00 01

Designed for the BMW S 1000 R (2014-2020), this Basic tank ring allows for a secure attachment of a Hepco & Becker tank bag. Sleek and sturdy, it offers a simple mechanical mounting solution to carry the essentials without compromising handling or access to the fuel cap.

Contents: model-specific tank ring + adjustable support bracket to fit the shape of the tank and the angle of the handlebars.
Installation: the bag clips in and locks mechanically with an audible click; unlocking is done via the front strap of the bag.
Recommended performance: maximum advised speed with bag mounted: 130 km/h. Indicative payload: ~3 kg.
Compatibility: BASIC system only — do not combine with a Lock-it counter-bracket (the two systems are not interchangeable).
Practicality: the fuel cap remains accessible once the ring is installed, allowing for quick refueling after a ride.
