Designed for the BMW R 1150 GS Adventure (2001-2005), the BASIC tank ring allows for a neat attachment of a Hepco & Becker tank bag to the cap. The kit includes the model-specific ring and the adjustable counter-support, which can be screwed onto the bag depending on the shape of the tank and the angle of the handlebars.

• Simple and robust mechanical attachment: the bag clicks into place and locks audibly.
• Tank cap can be opened without removing the ring.
• Supplied with the counter-support to adapt the bag to the tank profile.
• Recommended use: payload of approximately 3 kg in the bag; maximum advised speed with bag installed: 130 km/h.
• System note: the BASIC ring uses purely mechanical locking. It is not compatible with the counter-supports of the Lock-it system (magnets/centering).
