Hepco & Becker Basic — a robust and easy-to-use tank ring designed to securely attach an H&B tank bag. This internal system allows for quick installation and reliable mechanical locking for a worry-free ride in the city as well as on the road.
- Contents: BASIC tank ring and adjustable counter-ring to adapt the angle according to the shape of the tank and the orientation of the handlebars.
- Locking: mechanical mechanism with audible click — the bag is placed and locked with a single click.
- Unlocking: front securing strap of the bag pulled in the direction of travel to quickly release the bag.
- Practical: the tank cap can still be opened when the ring is installed.
- Recommendations: payload of approximately 3 kg in the bag; maximum recommended speed with bag mounted: 130 km/h (also refer to the manufacturer's specifications for the motorcycle).
- Compatibility: the counter-plate of the bag and the ring must belong to the same system (BASIC or Lock-it). Both versions share the model-specific metal ring but differ in magnetic or plastic domes.
