Product details :

Features

RFX Race Bulk Sound Absorber - 500g (manufacturer ref: FXSP3050055WH): an insulating wool designed to restore the acoustic performance of motorcycle silencers. These high-performance fibers wrap around the core to renovate baffles and reduce the whistling of a worn-out exhaust, suitable for both 2T and 4T machines.

Packaging: 500 g of bulk fibers, easy to measure and distribute.
Material: woven fiberglass, long strands adapting to the shapes of silencers.
Thermal resistance: usable up to 700 °C.
Universal use: compatible with most motorcycle silencers and cartridges.

Installation is done by wrapping the insulation around the central core: tighten enough to achieve a "firm cushion" consistency, but avoid excessive compaction that could increase noise levels instead of dampening them. For a clean result, wear gloves and eye protection when handling the fibers.

This product is intended for DIY enthusiasts and builders looking to refurbish a cartridge or customize the acoustic tuning of their silencer without resorting to a complete part. Reliable, easy to install, and specifically formulated for exhaust use.
