Features

VERTEX SEGMENT 83.5MM – Manufacturer reference: 590383500002

New VERTEX segment with a nominal diameter of 83.5 mm, designed for the engine refurbishment of urban scooters. This segment fits around the piston to ensure sealing between it and the cylinder wall: an essential role for maintaining compression, limiting combustion gas leaks, and regulating lubrication of the cylinder/piston bearing during acceleration in the city or on suburban routes.

Brand: VERTEX
Designation: piston segment 83.5 mm
Category: Segment
Universe: Urban
Frequent compatibilities: Suzuki AN 400 Burgman (2011 - 400 cm3), ABS versions included

Whether you are performing a complete overhaul after wear or replacing a broken segment, this component fits into the workshop as a maintenance part. For a clean installation, check the condition of the cylinder (ovalization, scratches) and adhere to the clearances and settings recommended by the manufacturer. If necessary, entrust the intervention to a motorcycle mechanic to ensure precise installation and a smooth commissioning.
