Features

VERTEX Ring Set Ø89.5MM — Replace worn rings and restore a lively and reliable engine for your motocross outings. This VERTEX ring set is designed for cylinders with a nominal diameter of 89.5 mm and is aimed at riders performing engine overhauls or routine maintenance after piston/cylinder head disassembly.

Brand: VERTEX
Category: Ring
Diameter: Ø89.5 mm
Universe: Motocross
Manufacturer reference: Not provided

Ideal for restoration during a re-boring or piston replacement, this ring set integrates into the standard engine restoration operations: cylinder inspection, honing, deglazing, and axial/lateral clearance adjustment. Before installation, check the actual cylinder diameter and the axial clearance recommended by the manufacturer to ensure perfect compatibility.

Suitable for the following models (to be verified according to year and configuration):

HONDA CR 500 R (PE02) – 2001
HONDA CR 480 R (PE02) – 1983
HONDA CR 500 R (PE02) – 2000

For a lasting result, pair this ring set with a piston in good condition and follow the installation procedures: cleaning, lubrication during installation, and clearance check. If in doubt, seek advice from your workshop or the Motoblouz specialist.
