Description
This silencer is constructed from race-proven materials; this exhaust features a black-coated titanium outer sleeve on the silencer and a newly designed lightweight titanium end cap, just like the bracket. It includes a stainless steel link pipe and an internal silencer structure. Weighing 39.8% (1.6 kg) less than the standard original exhaust, it delivers performance gains at mid and high RPMs. During development, engineers focused on throttle response and handling, resulting in an increase of 0.7 kW (0.9 hp) and an improvement in torque of 1.3 Nm, both at 5,700 RPM compared to a standard original system, tested on the Akrapovič in-house test bench.
This Euro 5 exhaust has been designed to meet CE/ECE type approval while providing better performance and a deep, sporty sound. It is a simple plug-and-play installation with no remapping required, fully compatible with the original Honda side bags.
