DescriptionRick's Motosport Electric Engine Starter
Product details :
Features
Replace your starter with this unit from Rick's Motorsport Electric (manufacturer part number: 61-606). Designed for Can-Am quads, this starter motor stands out for its sealing approach: the output seal is positioned outside the bearing, and the assembly incorporates a double-sealed ball bearing. This configuration limits moisture infiltration into the electric motor housing, a common weak point of unprotected needle bearing setups.
Type: Starter (starting motor) — sold individually
Brand: Rick's Motorsport Electric
Key feature: double-sealed ball bearing with external output seal
Maintenance: the sealed ball bearing is replaceable for easy repairs
Category: Starter Group — replacement part for quads
Designed to withstand conditions encountered in off-road environments (mud, water splashes), this starter provides targeted protection for the outer bearing to reduce the risk of corrosion related to moisture. Compatible with several listed Can-Am DS 70/90 models, it is a logical choice for quad bikers who want to maintain a reliable and easy-to-maintain starting system.
