Rick's Motorsport Electric - Starter (Manufacturer's ref: 61-610)

Targeted replacement for BRP vehicles (Can-Am, Ski-Doo): this Rick's starter is designed for quads, SxS, touring and utility machines. Sold individually, it takes over the engine starting function with particular attention paid to the sealing of the rolling components to limit the risk of corrosion related to moisture.

Many OEM starters use an unprotected needle bearing outside the shaft seal: moisture can enter and cause corrosion. Rick's opts for a sealed ball bearing and a rethought seal to better protect the output area.
