The TERRA TR55 top case has been awarded the ABC Awards because it was designed with the fundamental aspects of adventure motorcycle use in mind. Made from 1.2 mm forged aluminium alloy, a versatile, lightweight, and highly corrosion-resistant type of aluminium with additional strength properties.

It features the integrated "TERRA Lock System" (patent pending). This is a structure made from industrial-grade AISI 304 stainless steel that includes the locking system and the integrated retractable handle. Designed for quick one-handed use, it allows the user to open and close the case, as well as install and remove it in seconds. It also has AISI 304 stainless steel hinges. The rubber seal of the top case protects the interior from the elements (Water resistance). Additionally, the foam base reduces movement of the contents inside. The keys and cylinder of the TR55 correspond to the premium version of SHAD, with a system that reduces the risk of theft and a cover that protects the cylinder from dust. It is possible to add extra load thanks to its external AISI 304 stainless steel hooks. There are three types of plates: standard SHAD plate (D1B591PA), aluminium plate (D1BTRPA) or black aluminium plate (D1BTRPA2): sold separately. The cylinders are easy to change: in less than 5 minutes, you can make the top case and side cases compatible to use with a single key. A third cylinder for the top case is included in the case on the right side.
