Boyesen engineers have developed a series of technical innovations in their range of intake systems to optimise power, torque, and flexibility: Aerodynamic Surface Optimization (optimisation of internal surfaces), Model-Specific Reed Petal Tensioning (model-specific reed valves), Material Fuel Resistance (materials resistant to hydrocarbons), and Multi-Stage Reed Timing (staged opening reed valves).
The BOYESEN reed valve assemblies are specifically developed for each motorcycle model.
