After launching the ready-to-use SLA battery range in 2014, BS Battery is this year offering an advanced range based on the same SLA technology. Identified under the name "SLA-Max", this new range is dedicated to the most powerful or heavily used large displacement vehicles. The SLA-Max batteries are primarily characterised by a higher starting power than traditional models and improved longevity.

Technically, they are distinguished by their construction and composition. They employ AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) technology using absorbent glass fibres, and they are also more resistant to vibrations and sealed at the time of production; however, a valve maintains the pressure.

In addition to their longevity, the SLA-Max batteries are ready to use with activation and a final charging phase in Europe rather than in Asia. This has the advantage of ensuring a maximum charge level and avoiding handling, except for installation. There is no charging cycle to perform as they are activated just before delivery. There is also no level or maintenance required.
