This battery is sold with electrolyte, so it needs to be filled with acid.
It is maintenance-required and needs level checks.

If the battery is not used, it should be charged once a month (with a Kooroom or Optimate type motorcycle battery charger).

IMPORTANT: If this initial charge is not performed (or performed with an unsuitable charger), the battery will lose 20% of its nominal capacity as well as 30% of its lifespan. A battery that remains completely discharged for more than a month will deteriorate irreversibly.
