If the battery is not used, it should be charged once a month (with a motorcycle battery charger type Optimate).
IMPORTANT: If this initial charge is not performed (or performed with an inadequate charger), the battery will lose 20% of its nominal capacity as well as 30% of its lifespan. A battery that remains completely discharged for more than a month will deteriorate irreversibly.
