Centrifugal clutch system with clutch bell for scooters SPORT

Fly clutch

The Fly clutch is a reinforced centrifugal clutch that has been developed to work reliably even under the most extreme conditions, for example in constant stop-and-go traffic, city driving, long periods at traffic lights, riding with a passenger and riding in high outside temperatures, when it is more difficult to keep the operating temperature of the scooter down.

A great deal of Malossi's experience has gone into the Fly clutch. This experience comes from research and thousands of tests in racing.

Clutch bell

Technical details

• Forged clutch bell made of Fe DC04 deep-drawn steel;
• carbon steel teeth machined from bar stock and assembled using the tungsten inert-gas welding process;
• anti-vibration welded using a 3-point 120° pattern;
• 100% dynamically balanced;
• surface nitride hardened.
