The Mivv catalyst is specific to the complete exhaust system/silencer Mivv, it is the complement for the system or the silencer to meet Euro 3 or Euro 4 standards (depending on the model).
The catalytic converter is a structure made of metal honeycomb that contains precious metals (palladium,rhodium and platinum) in its surface. These metals convert carbon monoxide and unburned hydrocarbons into exhaust gases into non-toxic carbon dioxide and water vapour.
