This VHM crankshaft is designed with medium inertia for improved handling and performance, as well as better balance to reduce vibration.

Its high quality is remarkable: its runout is 0.01 mm and it can be rebuilt several times without any loss of strength or rigidity.

In addition, this crankshaft is assembled with a special lightweight connecting rod kit (CRK1502) and must be used with the solid connecting rod axle to ensure optimum balance and minimise engine vibration.

The connecting rod is 19 grams lighter than the original one and improves throttle response.

Under the effect of engine braking, the standard connecting rod hole deforms by 0.015 to 0.02 mm, whereas our VHM connecting rod deforms by only 0.005 mm (thanks to a high-strength material). What's more, this connecting rod is carefully finished, giving it a smooth surface and preventing minor fractures.
