The automatic switching of Axel Joost's daytime running lights supports the transition between dipped headlights and daytime running lights via a light sensor.

This electronic load relay has 2 outputs, each capable of handling 60 watts. The module supports switching between dipped headlights and daytime running lights via a light sensor. Sensitivity can be adjusted to 60 levels of brightness and stored permanently. The transition time from daytime running lights to dipped headlights is set to less than 0.5 seconds to ensure safety when entering tunnels. The switching time from dipped headlights to daytime running lights is set to approx. 3 seconds to be insensitive to stray light from other road users, or for example from street lamps. In terms of size, this automatic relay fits directly into any lamp or almost any steel handlebar.
