Features

BITUBO Fork Spring - ref. MY14WO designed for Yamaha YZF-R1 (RN09) 2002-2003. Replacement coil spring kit intended for riders who want to adjust the stiffness of their front end without affecting the hydraulic damping.

Stiffness: K = 0.9 kg/mm — construction specification provided by the manufacturer.
Replaces the original springs for an overall adjustment of the fork's behaviour.
Installation intended for the models listed below (check compatibility before installation).

These BITUBO springs allow for adjustment of the mechanical response of the fork (preload and stiffness) and refine the feel at the handlebars: corner entry, feedback through the plungers, and stance under heavy braking. They do not affect the valves or fork oil — for a complete setup, it is advisable to combine hydraulic adjustments with suitable oil.
