Pro Race Clutch Kit with Lined and Smooth Discs by Newfren

The Pro Race clutch kit combines steel discs and friction discs for more consistent clutch engagement. The linings are primarily made of cellulose, resins, and carbon, providing a high coefficient of friction and reduced compressibility. The design optimises oil circulation for efficient operation under intensive use. Suitable for riders seeking performance close to competition applications while remaining intended for road use.

Design and Materials

Linings made from cellulose, resins, and carbon offering a high coefficient of friction and reduced compressibility for more stable clutch response.
Special disc design promoting oil circulation, enhancing operational efficiency during sustained use.

Usage and Performance

Race product developed in collaboration with championship teams to meet high demands in competition.
Material/design combination stabilises the linings and limits performance variation under challenging usage conditions.

Practicality and Features

11 friction discs, thickness 2.8 mm, outer diameter 132.5 mm, inner diameter 111.5 mm, 12 edges — allows precise dimension checks before installation.
Main set of 8 steel discs, thickness 2 mm, 34 teeth, outer diameter 132.5 mm, inner diameter lower teeth 103.5 mm / upper teeth 96 mm — facilitates complete replacement of the disc pack.
Additional steel discs: 1x thickness 2 mm 36 teeth (Ø ext. 133 mm, Ø int. lower teeth 110.5 mm / upper 103 mm) and 1x thickness 2.3 mm 34 teeth (Ø ext. 132.5 mm, Ø int. lower teeth 104 mm / upper 96 mm) to complete the original set.
