Manufacturer reference: GYA8835COM — Spark EVO5 (Full system), road-legal exhaust system.

This full Spark system has been developed to enhance Yamaha's three-cylinder platform (CP3). Incorporating the characteristic geometric design silencer of the EVO5 range, this "COM" (Carbon Homologated) version includes the necessary elements to comply with pollution and noise regulations, thus allowing legal use on public roads under Euro 3 standards.

• Finish: stainless steel collectors (AISI 304 stainless steel) + EVO5 silencer in carbon fibre.

• Compatible models: Yamaha MT-09 (2014-2020) / XSR 900 (2016-2020).

• Specificity: complete replacement system designed on a dynamometer to optimise the engine performance of the three-cylinder while radically modernising the side aesthetics of the motorcycle.

• Homologation: road-legal (compliant with Euro 3 emission and noise standards, which de facto validates FFM sound checks for potential access to the track). (Technical note: the homologation certificate is not updated for the Euro 4 standard applicable to models from 2017).

Dynamically, this full system transforms the behaviour of the Yamaha MT-09 and XSR 900. Although the exact weight is not communicated by the manufacturer for this reference, replacing the collectors and the bulky original silencer with the stainless steel system and EVO5 carbon silencer significantly lightens the lower part of the machine. This centralisation of mass makes the motorcycle more agile, while the angular shape of the carbon perfectly integrates with the sharply defined lines of these roadsters. The sound of the CP3 engine is enhanced, becoming more guttural, while remaining within legal limits.
