Alpinestars presents the second generation of its neck protection, BNS Pro:

The BNS (Bionic Neck Support) Pro activates when the rider's helmet contacts the chassis during a fall, providing a clean and solid surface that immediately channels harmful and compressive energy from the impact away from the neck. It is designed to promote the prevention of neck injuries and minimize the risk of collateral damage.
This second generation features a new design, a revised chassis construction, and improved ergonomics.

• Padding made from compressed EVA foam to distribute impact force over the largest possible surface area
• SAS (Size Adapter System) size adjustment system with supplied adapters
• Foam and laminated lycra padding kit: adjustable and interchangeable EVA foam padding ensures and facilitates compatibility between this protection and other body protection systems
• Thin retention straps to be worn over or under the jersey
